AL HAJ NOOR MIA COLLEGE

Mr. Mostafa Kamal was born on February 2, 1955 AD in a noble Muslim family in Buddin village of Kankapait union of Chauddagram upazila of Comilla district. His father’s name is Al Haj Noor Mia and his mother is Al Haj Ayesha Noor. Among the three siblings, Mustafa Kamal is the eldest child of his parents. After his studies, he moved to Dhaka. Mustafa Kamal, a young man full of self-reliance and enthusiasm, started some small businesses in Dhaka’s Molvi Bazar. Due to his courage and dedication, the business improved day by day and gradually he built one of the desirable industrial companies like Meghna Group of Industries. About 25 thousand people have been employed in 40 industrial establishments. More employment opportunities are expected to be created as the group expands. Mr. Mustafa Kamal in his personal life is very benevolent, unassuming, self-respecting, charitable, devoted, studious, philanthropic, and sincere. In 1995, he established Alhaj Noor Mia College with a single fund to spread the light of education in the area. He has so far built 48 Seasoned house for the landless poor of his village. He is constantly helping the needy and poor in education, medical, family, and social work. Public welfare works such as the construction of mosques, madrasas, student hostels and donations to orphanages are part of his regular activities.
